Notice how more brands are coming up with face masks printed with their logo on it? Well, Apple has joined the bandwagon of having their face mask and has even up the design game. Developed by its Engineering and Industrial design team, the face mask comes in a minimalistic white box containing five pieces sealed in individual packing.
So how different is this mask from the others?
As shown recently in the Unbox Therapy video, the Apple face mask is designed in a fitting cover from the nose to the chin, has an adjustable white band, and a mini hook to secure the band. It features a three-layer filter and can wash up to five times, with a maximum of eight-hour usage for each time, which means it is sufficient for a month worth of working day.
And do you know Apple had another clear mask version too?
Apple indeed has two types of masks, the self-developed Apple face mask, and the clear mask. The clear mask is sourced externally and meant to show the full face of the employee. This help people who are hard of hearing to understand better what the Apple employees are saying. According to Bloomberg, although the clear mask is currently sourced externally, Apple still explores its transparent mask options.
Wow, so where can I get any of this?
Sadly, this mask is currently only available for Apple's employees as preventive measures against the coronavirus. And it is not known if Apple will make it available for public purchase.
